Zoo & Stadion

Station information

In 1881 the city received its zoo, which due to its hilly location is considered one of the most scenic animal parks in Germany. From 1892, a feudal residential area was built in the area and in 1924 the stadium at the zoo. The mighty Sonnborner railway bridge north of the stadium is the only structure that crosses the suspension railway.
