35 years ago, in 1989, the Langer Tisch took place in Wuppertal for the first time. Back then, the aim was to celebrate Wuppertal’s 60th anniversary with a colorful, large festival. The concept was so well received that from then on, every 5 years, the Langer Tisch invites the people of Wuppertal to celebrate again.
This year it’s that time again: Wuppertal turns 95!
To mark the occasion, WSW mobil is offering a special ticket. The LangerTischTicket costs 3.50 euros and is valid throughout the entire city of Wuppertal on all WSW lines on June 29, 2024. The ticket is valid until 8 a.m. the following day.
On this day, the suspension railway will run more frequently and until 3 a.m. the next day.
Ticket sales start on June 17th in the WSW Ticket App and on June 24th in the MobiCenters, from WSW sales partners, and at ticket machines.
