Suspension railroad renewal program: Part 2

Refurbishment of the Robert-Daum-Platz suspension railway station

After the renovation work on the suspension railway stations began with the Wupperfeld station, it is now being continued at the Robert-Daum-Platz station.

As part of this work, the platforms will be partially closed. During the work, barrier-free access will be available on the north side of the station.

The platform in the direction of Oberbarmen will be closed from October 7 to 18. Boarding and alighting will not be possible. The platform in the direction of Vohwinkel cannot be used by passengers from October 17 to 26. This means that on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18, the station will be completely unavailable for passenger traffic.

Update 16.10.2024: Due to the weather, the work could not be carried out as planned. The platform in the Oberbarmen direction is still closed up to and including October 21. The platform in the direction of Vohwinkel cannot be used by passengers from October 22-30.

Further information on the renovation work can be found here.
